Registry of Merit (ROM)
The IRWSAA wishes to recognize exceptional sires and dams whose
influence on the breed is seen by their ability to produce high quality
progeny that can positively impact the breed as a whole. A Registry of
Merit (ROM) certificate will be awarded to those sires and dams whose
get/produce have attained titles in conformation, the field, hunt tests,
obedience/rally, agility and tracking.
It is the responsibility of the owner(s) of the sire or dam to supply
documentation to the ROM Coordinator in order to receive the ROM
Certificate.
SIRES: A sire’s progeny must earn 50 title points in order to qualify.
No fewer than 5 and no more than 15 progeny can be used to make up the
points. In order for each progeny to be counted, they must have been
awarded a 3 point or higher title. Only the highest title per category counts.
Progeny can earn points from titles in each category, ie conformation, field,
hunt, obedience/rally, agility and tracking. Only AKC titles will be accepted.
DAMS: A dam’s progeny must earn 30 title points in order to qualify.

points. In order for each progeny to be counted, they must have been
awarded a 3 point or higher title. Only the highest title per category counts.
