2002 5th East
Coast IR&WSA Regional Specialty
On Saturday, August 10th, 2002 the East Coast Regional
Specialty was held in Berkeley, New Jersey at the Robert J. Miller Airpark after
the conclusion of the AKC Sand & Sea Kennel Club Show. There were eleven
Red & Whites entered with a total entry of nineteen.
Our AKC, BIS Sporting Judge Frank Washabough awarded Winners Bitch & the high
honor of Best In Specialty to Debbie Cournoyer's "ARBA CH. Ardbraccan Grainne,
CGC" (Picture Below)..Best of Opposite Sex was awarded to the Winners Dog, "CAN.
CH. Glennessa Kingpinn" owned by Peter & Mollie Heide,(Picture Below) and Best
Puppy went to "Robi Lee Sky Hawk" owned by Wayne & Lee Robinson.. Judge
Washabaugh commented on the wonderful temperaments and enjoyed the breed.
Our Sweepstakes Judge, Peter Heidi chose "Robi Lee Evening Star" Best in
Sweepstakes and Best of Opposite went to "Robi Lee Sky Hawk" both owned by Wayne
& Lee Robinson.
Best Veteran In Sweepstakes was "ARBA/CAN RB CH Robi Lee Fire Sky, JH, CGC"..
Best Jr. Handler was Diandra Dunne with "Robi Lee Morning Sky".. Points toward
IR&WSA Confirmation Title...Dogs 4 pt. major..Bitches 3 pt. major. Entries came
from..NY, NJ, MD, RI & NH.
Good times, good weather, good food, good friends and good dogs it was a good
day...and a Great Regional Specialty...thanks to Show Chairperson Kathy
