Rory Adopted The IRWSA's first rescue dog, now known as Aurora Borealis, has been adopted by the Pettersons after an intense, five month, world-wide search that utilized mail, e-mail, cyberspace dog lists, this web site and telephone. |

| Chuck and Lynn Petterson, active in Gordon Setter Rescue, fostered him during the search and decided to adopt him when no responses were received. He has completed a 10 week obedience course and now weighs 75 pounds. | |

| Glennessa Fire on Ice, Morag, as she is called, is a
Registered Therapy Dog. As such, she regularly takes her companion, Lee
Robinson, to visit a nursing home in Milford, NH and a VA hospital in
Manchester, NH. Morag has put a light in the eyes and a smile on the face of
many patients. Lee and Morag also visit schools to give obedience demonstrations and talks on responsible pet ownership and care of dogs and other animals. They enjoy doing this "hands-on" education of the public. |
